Dr Soet is a medical doctor and specialist anaesthetist registered with AHPRA. He became a fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in 1999. He is a member of the Australian Society of Anaesthetists.
Dr Soet studied medicine at the University of Western Australia and trained in anaesthesia in Perth. Dr Soet has previously worked as a consultant at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Royal Perth Hospital and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.
